Counting on a Number Line

Frosty
Today we watched a video about water and it taught us that frost is forms when water vapor freezes that it turns into ice.  We looked at our cups in our classroom and the ones with no lids have had evaporation and the ones with lids have not.
Today we colored the scoops of ice cream the right colour using the words first second, third, etc.
We made a long number line from 0-100 and practiced skip counting by 2.5 and 10 both frontwards and backwards using a number line to help us.  Some could even do it without a number line.
We talked about important people in Iqaluit, Saskatoon and Meteghan.  The important person in Iqaluit helped the Inuit people get thier original names back instead of numbers.   We also talked about ch and sh sounds and then looked for words that had those letter in our books.
Our first book order and leprechaun trap came back to school today too!
