Today we were writing about leap year. We know leap year only happens every 4 years so it will not happen again until 2020.Today we coloured in 4 more spots on our 100 books heart. We are each doing home reading and for every book we read we colour in a square. We supposed to read 7 books so we can fill the whole heart. When we get to 100 scholastic will donate some books to a school that does not have a class library. We are at 16 square coloured in right now.
Today we worked on our books and did box 5 and 6. In box 5 our characters tried to solve the problem one more time but it didn't work and in box 6 they finally solved the problem. We used our supplies to build our Barbie furniture. Only 2 kids finished their so we will have to spend some more time building tomorrow. It was harder than we thought it might be.
Today we drew a penguin and under it we wrote 3 sentences . We did it today because our playground was so slippery.
